So I've actually had a ton of stuff I wanted to write about, but haven't done it because I wanted to get a redesign/rearchitecture of the site going.  This place really doesn't feel like my site since it's someone else's software and someone else's design (mine's going to be worse, but I don't like this one anyway).  There's been a whole lot of gaming going on as well other blog-worthy stuff going on that I've just let slip by, but I figured I'd pass this tidbit of info along since the NHL season is coming soon.

Went out last night to have a collective celebration for Grant, Wes and Jaret's birthdays.  Since I don't drink, the celebration was at a bar, and it was the third get together we were at for the day we bounced early.  As it turns out, birthdays or not, you're never too old to hand out a beat down to a sucker that steps out of line and a couple fights broke and people got socked.  Luckily, it sounds like most of the socking was done by Wes' friends.  Way to go, happy birthday guys.

Yesterday Ben introduced us to Baby Blues in Venice for some good BBQ.  If you go, expect a small wait, but the food is good, and the service is even better as the people are really friendly for it being that busy.  Pics har (the series starts off with the XXX Porno bbq sauce pic).

So I'm listening to the radio and hear a Tecate beer commercial where it has a bunch of dudes with ghetto ass spanish accents (as in over exaggerated Born in East LA wannabe accents) comparing tattoos, with the guy who "wins" the tattoo competition being the one who has the Tecate Eagle. I'm all for partaking in the humor of racial stereotypes but is that really a good marketing ploy? Stating that the target audience for your product is a bunch of drunk, gangster ass, tat'd up losers doesn't seem like a good idea to me, but what do I know? The icing on the cake, though, is the commercial ends with Tecate, cervezas Mexicanas.... White Plains, New York. Seriously, New York, that's almost as far as you can get from Mexico in the US. Maybe it's a plot by the Puerto Ricans or something.

Well after a long 5-6 months on the market our old condo is finally and officially sold.  I didn't want to jinx it since for that 5-6 months maybe only 1.5 months of the time was not in one type of escrow/offer counter offer phase or another.  Anyways, now we can start saving a lot more and not have to worry about making mortgage payments for two southern CA properties.  

There are very few things that really stand out in Filipino history to other people other than killing Magellan, inventing yo-yos and cheating in the little league world series, but now we have this, 1500 inmates reproducing the Thriller music video.

Today was really f'd up and I'm frustrated.  Don't want to get into details, but it's nothing long term and nothing really huge in the grand scope of things, but I'm fucking pissed. The way the end of the day is going, I'm going to end up socking some random mother fucker because he and I were both in the wrong place on the wrong day, doing the wrong stupid shit.

I wanted to get a site redesign before my birthday, but that's probably not going to happen.  Anyways, been working and gaming a lot, for those of you with unrestriced access at work, you might want to try <a href="http://www.ogame.org">Ogame</a>.  Despite the misleading name, it's web based massive multiplayer space strategy game.  It's something that you can leave on in the background while you work and check back on it every now and then, plus it's pretty cool.  If you want to join up with me I'm part of the Shack Horde which is a horribly unbalanced mega-alliance that just started (over 200+ members when all other mega-alliances top out at 40 - 50 members).  We're all still pretty new, but some guys are really good and breaking out really quickly.

For all you '80s kids like myself, check out this Transformers clip.  It starts off slow, but gets better especially near the end.  It's especially hillarious if you remember the original Transformers animated movie, very timely too with the live movie coming out soon

Crazy news story .  21 year old kid in a wheelchair gets wheelchair lodged into grill of a truck and the truck drives for 4 miles up to 50 mph without hurting the dude.  I would've shit my pants, but the dude was pretty cool about it.
